Dr. Aamer Farooki is a board certified radiologist with fellowship training in magnetic resonance imaging. He attended Harvard University for college, graduating with multiple honors including magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He then graduated at the top of his class from Duke Medical School. He was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and received multiple additional awards and honors including a Howard Hughes Scholarship. For his performance during his transitional year internship, he was recognized with an Intern of the Year award. After this, he completed his Radiology residency and fellowship in MRI at the Mallinkrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis.
Dr. Farooki has years of experience in both traditional hospital-based radiology and teleradiology. He specializes in body CT and MRI and is also trained in coronary CT angiography. He joined Strategic Imaging in April 2012.
